Have you considered applying for funding through the Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act Grant (LEMHWA)?
PeerConnect, powered by First Response Mental Health (FRMH), is an approved expenditure for this grant, and several law enforcement agencies that received similar LEMHWA grant funding last year are now up and running with the system. The PeerConnect system provides the wellness tools, resources, and peer support management system that modernized proactive wellness programs require. Additionally, staff with FRMH can help your organization apply for this grant, making the process easier for you.
Departments are eligible for up to $200,000 in funding for Mental Health and Wellness programs. Funds received go towards significantly improving the delivery of and access to mental health and wellness services for law enforcement officers. This can be through the implementation of peer support, family resources, suicide prevention and more.
